Homework and Grading

HOMEWORK

Reading from a book of your child's choice is required and should be done each day for 30 minutes.  Please read with your child and/or ask your child questions about what they are reading.

Projects will be given for students to complete at home.

Any class work that is not completed in the classroom will be assigned for homework.

GRADING
Students will be assessed according to how they master the 4th grade standards using a 1, 2, 3, 4 scale.

1-making little/no progress towards grade level standards

2-beginning to make progress towards grade level standards

3-making progress towards grade level standards

4-mastery of end-of-year standards
