I feel so lucky to be a part of the Bay community as a Teacher on Special Assignment! I think children are pretty amazing and love that I can help them on the road to independence. When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my husband, my own two children and my three cats. Travelling is also really important to me and I’ve been fortunate enough to visit a lot of fabulous places over the years.

I started my college career at Chabot College and then transferred to San Jose State where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree. After working for a few years I went back to school and received my teaching credential from Cal State Hayward (now Cal State East Bay).
